1. These terms

These terms apply to all drainage work carried out by Rapid Drainage Services (company number 11961043) unless we have agreed something different with you in writing.

2. Quotations and pricing

Prices given over the phone are estimates based on the information provided. A firm price is agreed on site before work begins. If the work turns out to be different from what was described, we will stop, explain what we have found and agree a revised price with you before continuing.

3. Access

You are responsible for providing safe access to the drainage system, including access to chambers, gullies and internal appliances where required. Where access must be created or restored, this will be quoted separately.

4. Work we cannot guarantee

Clearing a blockage does not guarantee that a defective drain will not block again. Where a CCTV survey shows a structural defect, we will recommend repair; we cannot warrant the continued performance of pipework that has not been repaired.

5. Payment

Domestic work is payable on completion unless agreed otherwise. Account customers are invoiced on the agreed terms. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue balances.

6. Cancellations

You may cancel a booked, non-emergency visit at no charge up to two hours before the agreed arrival window. Attendance charges may apply for cancellations after an engineer has been dispatched.

7. Liability

We maintain public liability insurance and are responsible for damage caused by our negligence. We are not liable for pre-existing defects, or for consequential loss such as loss of business or profit.
